Car Insurance

In case of accident We suggest you immediately contact us at 0888 222 2222 & inform the local police as well. Damage cost up to INR 5,000/- is to be paid by the customer on actuals. In case of a damage over Rs.5,000/- ,insurance claim will be filed and depreciation amount & parts which are not covered under insurance will be borne by the customer(*Refer Terms of use for more information) .The assessment of damage made by the Company will be final.

Car Loan What is the Minimum guarantee?

This is a minimum assured sum that you are paid after your vehicle is listed for a minimum of 15 days in a month with an acceptance of 75% (calculated through the number of hours). Right now it is pegged at INR 1000 per lakh of the ex showroom cost of the vehicle.For example, if your vehicle is Maruti Ritz Diesel - INR 6 lac, then the minimum guarantee is INR 6000

What is the eligibility to hire a self-drive car?

A.

The minimum age required to rent a GoGhoom is 21yrs. However, it is 23yrs for all other cars. Also, a valid driving license, voter ID/passport/aadhar card & a credit card would be required.

What documents do you need as a proof?

A.

You need to show the original Passport/Voters ID card/Aadhar card,a valid Driving License & also a credit card with sufficient balance for standing instructions. A copy of each need to be submitted while picking up the car.

Is there an agreement/document I need to sign?

Yes, there is a short agreement one needs to sign while picking up the car.

Can someone else book for me?

A.

Yes, but the person whose name has been mentioned in the reservation form needs to come along with the required documents to pick up the car.

Who is responsible for the car once it is rented?

A.

The person in whose name the booking has been made bears sole responsibility for the car. GoGhoom considers the aforementioned person to be the user.

From where can I pick up my vehicle?

A.

The user must select a Pick-up point of their choice from the various Pick-up locations across their city (in which GoGhoom services are available). You can collect your car from the Pick- up point you've chosen at the pickup time slot you've booked it for.

How do I recover my security deposit?

A.

All customers are required to make a Rs. 5000 deposit payable by credit card/ debit card/ net banking before their booking is confirmed. The deposit will be refunded to the customer's account once the car is returned to its Pick-up Location. The typical period for the refund will be within 5-6 days of the booking.
